Description of the painting by Sandro Botticelli "Portrait of Giuliano Medici"


The great Italian Renaissance artist immortalized the Prince of Youth in many of his paintings, which were striking in their beauty. Giuliano Medici, being a favorite of the population, attracted the attention and hatred of senior officials. It was personal hatred of him that caused the conspiracy in which he was killed. The Medici forever remained in the memory of the Italian people by the Prince of Youth and an extraordinary knight. Giuliano Medici became the epitome of the golden age in Italy, and that is why the inhabitants bitterly mourned his death. The portrait, which will not leave anyone indifferent, has become a real masterpiece and creation of the great Italian artist.
